Bio

What goes into making a performer; a singer; a recording artist? Some say it’s talent. Some say it’s passion. For new recording artist, Michaela, it’s certainly both.

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Michaela soon moved to Los Angeles. As a little girl she was exposed to Pop, R and B, Motown, and Classic Rock. She always knew singing was her passion and would put on daily shows singing and dancing to her favorite songs.

Her mom enrolled her in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Gymnastics. Her dad coached her in Basketball, Baseball, and Soccer.

She got her start performing at school shows. Eventually she began performing at talent shows and several benefits – even singing the Star Spangled Banner prior to an NBA game at Staples Center in LA. By the time she was 12 – it was vocal lessons. Soon after, she was working on demos. By 15, she had the opportunity to move to New York and start working with various music producers.

Last year Michaela recorded “Perfect for Each Other”, a song featured in the motion picture The Greening of Whitney Brown, starring Aidan Quinn, Brooke Shields, and Kris Kristofferson.

Back in Los Angeles, Michaela is continuing to work with various producers and coaches including renowned vocal coach Steve Real, Elijah Storm, David Stroud, Elan Morrison, Damon Elliot, and the Stereotypes.
